Multi-Genre Project

I am doing a letter for my topic of hybrids. Once I finish I hope to send my letter to Toyota. I chose hybrids for my letter because I already know some about it, verses having to do some research on some other different types of cars such as, cars fueled on compressed air and diesel. I am working on the publication part of the process. For the publication I hope to make it like a real letter. I enjoy this topic because cars and alternative fuels interest me.

Weekend News

This weekend, on Saturday and Sunday I had a swim meet. I had to wake up at 6:00 on Saturday . In the swim meet, I swam the 100 back, the 50 fly, and the 50 breast stroke. The meet was a lot of fun!! Once we got home my brother and I had piano lessons. Later that night we had dinner at Big Bowl. I ate chicken satay. On Sunday morning, I also had to wake up at 6:00 for day two of the swim meet. This time Sally and her mom brought me to the meet. At this meet I swam the 50 back, the 50 free, a relay and the 100 IM (IM means you swim all four strokes in the same race). After the swim meet I did my homework. Later that night I had a dinner of Spicy Sesame Noodles. It was very good. On the noodles I put sprouts, basil, and peanuts. This weekend was very fun.

Weekend News

This weekend was a lot of fun. On Friday, I carved pumpkins with my neighbors. My pumpkin was a ghost with hands. Sat: In the morning my family and I went out for breakfast and I ate "49rs" (pancakes). Once we got home I went for a walk around the lake with my dad. Later in the afternoon I ran errands with my mom. That night I went trick-or-treating in my neighborhood. After that I went over to my next door neighbors party. It was on her porch. Outside there was a bonfire. Once that wrapped up I went to my friends party. That was also a lot of fun! The party lasted in till about 10 pm. Sun: In the morning I made pancakes with my dad. After breakfast I counted and sorted my candy. Later that day we went to Target for my brother. After that I was at home doing homework at home. That night we had dinner of corned beef and vegetables. After dinner I watched some TV and then went to bed.
